     The winner for the all-time dumbest political ad. Meg Whitman had already spent $140 million of her own money running for governor of California gainst former Governor Jerry Brown. One week before the election Jerry Brown ran an ad showing Meg Whitman talking about how great things were when she moved to California 30 years ago.
     Just one thing wrong with that: Her opponent, Jerry Brown, was the governor 30 years ago... "when anything was possible in this state."
